Action Ministries is part of Publix 'Food for Sharing' program

Action Ministries announced that it joins the Feed the Hungry Foundation in support of the 2012 Publix "Food for Sharing" program. The Food for Sharing program provides food for hundreds of hungry families through generous donations from shoppers, a major portion of which goes to Feed the Hungry Foundation for distribution throughout the year. At a special Veterans Day event Monday at VFW Post #5255 in Lawrenceville, Action Ministries CEO John Moeller announced that Action Ministries, along with grant partner HOPE Atlanta, have been awarded a $1 million grant by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The grant is part of a more than $100 million national program to assist veterans and their families who face imminent eviction or are currently homeless.
